We are seeking an experienced Workforce Planning Coordinator to join our energetic, fast-paced and highly motivated team. You will be part of PMO, responsible for resource planning across professional services and work closely with both the delivery leadership and the sales teams to ensure all current and future project needs are met. You will support workforce planning, organisation design and process improvement initiatives as well as contribute to future workforce strategy.
The role:
- Collaborate with Technical Delivery Managers (TDMs) and Program / Project Managers to ensure resource assignment data and forecasts match.
- Support sales by assessing resourcing demand vs availability of existing resources, based on the sales pipeline and/or talent pipeline to allow confidence of signing dates.
- Analyse in flight project demand and sales pipeline demand to identify the need for additional resources and propose timely recruitment.
- Assign resources to meet project requirements to ensure maximum utilisation and optimum client experience.
- Work with Project Managers to clarify project forecasts for resourcing and schedule resource assignments to meet any changing demand.
- Bring overutilisation or underutilisation to the attention of TDM’s and the Portfolio Manager and agree on steps to rectify.
- Work with the Managed Services resourcing team to ensure efficiency and support across both teams.
- Work with the billing team to ensure T&M Resource Augmentation forecasts match, accounting for leave, public holidays and SOW requirements.
- Work with TDM’s to assist them with onboarding of new resources to ensure they are allocated and billable in accordance with their skillset.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have significant experience in people and workforce management within Microsoft environments and related disciplines, experience using a CRM tool.
- Have the ability to foster an agile work environment and remove any road blocks that inhibit successful delivery to our clients
- Be customer-oriented, diligent, proactive, focused on achieving both our customer's business objectives and LAB3's business objectives as top priority
- Be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
- Have a collaborative approach, with excellent communication skills
- The ability to keep up with an innovative, fast paced environment (and enjoy it!)
- Have strong problem solving skills. You will also be great at context switching, when required.
- Have an understanding of different cloud technologies or a willingness to learn
