Full-Time Position (38 hours per week)
About the Role: As a Project Coordinator, you will be joining our Infrastructure/Fleet Team. This position is instrumental in assisting Project Managers with the coordination and management of ongoing projects throughout the Barkly Region. Your responsibilities will include procurement of quotes, liaising with contractors, and overseeing the repair and maintenance of council-owned and leased assets. You will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, within budget, and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards. The Essentials
Experience working with contractors and suppliers in the construction, infrastructure, or local government sectors in the Northern Territory preferably.
Knowledge of procurement processes and/or contract management or the ability to learn.
Understanding of asset management and maintenance practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Proficient in project management software and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong, effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, tenants, and team members.
A current Manual (C Class) Driver’s Licence.
A current National Criminal History Check. (within the last 3 months).

The Finer Details
Full-Time position paying at Level 9 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2023.
Annual Salary of $91,220.34 ($3,508.47 gross per fortnight).
Tennant Creek Zone Allowance of $1.89 per ordinary hour.
11.5% Superannuation.
Annual Leave of 6 weeks paid with 17.5% Leave Loading.
