The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Parts Person to join the team at AMA Collision Mackley St, Garbutt Permanent position, Monday to Friday. If you are an experienced Parts Interpreter looking to build on your career, then this may be for you! Long term position with a supportive manager and team. You will work within our workshop, alongside our technicians and provide parts support to our workshop team. Role responsibilities
Receive list of parts needed
Unpack and check parts arriving on site
Deliver parts to the vehicle being repaired
Organise awaiting parts and credits
Keep the computer system up to date
Procure parts to ensure profitability
Manage stock including credit notes, parts and goods returned
Upon parts arrival record job number and store in the appropriate area
Explore alternative options for the supply of delayed parts
Receive and credit parts via parts management/ordering system
Follow up suppliers for parts credits

Have a strong knowledge of cars and car parts
Be experienced in a similar role (store person role advantageous)
