Generous remuneration package value up to $97656 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range of $76,963 to $85,591 p.a. (AO3)
- 17.5% leave loading + leave
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.
About the role
- Process paper clinical documents to accurately scan, quality control and validate to the correct patient medical record in ie MR, and in the correct order of filing, to ensure clinical documents are available for clinicians to provide timely clinical care.
- Deliver exceptional person-centred customer service to patients, their families and the public, assisting and directing patients, visitors and colleagues in an effective and courteous manner.
- Build good relationships with patients, their families and work colleagues by using strong communication and negotiation skills to understand customers' needs and deliver a service that meets their needs with adherence to policy and standards.
Skills and experience
- Maintain confidentiality whilst accessing patient records, secure storage areas of the hospital and delivering patient medical records to wards, clinics and other hospital departments.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to achieve tasks within designated time frames and perform tasks with limited supervision.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team to achieve unit goals and support others in the overall performance of the work unit.
