IT Service and Operations Manager

The Role
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing ITIL processes, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management. This role ensures the effective implementation of backup and disaster recovery controls, as well as comprehensive service management.
  • ITIL Process Management & Service Mgmt:
    • Oversee and manage ITIL processes, including Change, Incident, and Problem Management, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
    • Ensure effective service management practices are in place, focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Backup and Disaster Recovery:
    • Implement and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery controls to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • IT Automation:
    • Lead IT automation initiatives to reduce failure demand, increase self-service capabilities, and minimize the need for service desk requests.
  • Manage relationships with managed service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery for front desk and service desk operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure IT operations align with organizational goals.
About you
  • Experience in a similar role, with a strong background in ITIL process management, service management, and IT automation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex IT operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in IT automation tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for delivering great customer experiences
  • Proven ability to think end-to-end, establish priorities
