Ventia are currently seeking to engage an experienced Site Supervisor for our Defence Base Services contract in Darwin NT. Your primarily responsibilities would be to providing a high level of customer service, managing key stake holders as well as supervision and co-ordination to the building trades to effectively maintain, repair, replace and ensure the integrity and performance of facilities and equipment within the Defence contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination all General Estate Works (GEW) under the Defence Contract.
- Coordination of in-house trades and subcontractors for GEW works under the Defence Contract.
- Arrange site access, including inductions, access to drawings, maps, escorts, permits to work, for in house staff, contractors, and sub-contractors.
- Ensure accounts are maintained with appropriate suppliers to ensure equipment and services are available to tradespersons.
- Ensure service delivery is effective and meets the stated Contract requirements and KPI’s.
- Triage service requests in line with contractual obligations.
- Conduct cost control review of maintenance activities.
Monitor and drive on time performance of maintenance activities.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Background in Facility’s maintenance administration and or coordination, small to medium building and infrastructure related works and repairs.
- Excellent knowledge of work order management including Triage, cost control, and on time performance.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Excellent customer service focus
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
You must be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to maintain a Defence clearance in order to be eligible for these positions.
