CSO / Client Service Officer / Team Leader

Are you an experienced professional with a background in financial planning and a passion for exceptional customer service? We’re recruiting for a Client Service Officer (CSO)/ Team Leader for a leading financial planning firm, located in a modern office with convenient parking on the Gold Coast.

The Role: This full-time, permanent position offers a dynamic work environment with a supportive team, early Friday finishes(optional) and excellent career growth opportunities. As a CSO / Team Leader, you will oversee the reception team, manage outsourced paraplanning services, and streamline office processes.
  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Early Friday Finish: Optional
  • Career Growth: Potential to advance to an Associate Advisor role
  • Team Leadership: Oversee receptionists and outsourced team
  • Office Environment: Professional and collaborative team culture
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the reception team and outsourced paraplanning services
  • Ensure excellent client support, creating lasting professional relationships
  • Assist in the preparation of SOA’s
  • Assist in preparing portfolios and reports
  • Help with research for advisors when required
  • Collaborate with the financial planning team to support client goal achievement
  • Maintain rigorous compliance and accurate client documentation
  • Provide hands-on support with Xplan and other financial planning tools
  • Utilise Excel and other platforms for data management and reporting
Applicant Requirements:
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual with a solid background in financial planning. Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Proven experience in a similar financial planning client support role ( min 3 years experience)
  • Proven track record as a leader of people &process is highly advantageous
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and compliance knowledge
  • Experience with Xplan and Excel
  • A desire for career growth and leadership opportunities
  • Familiarity with financial products and platforms
