An opportunity exists to join and support our Children, Young People and Families team based at the vibrant Youth Hub located in Hawthorn from 10am to 6pm (Monday to Friday).
This role is perfect for those with an interest in supporting our community by using their extensive administration skills.
A little bit about the role
The Children, Young People and Families Administration Officer supports the Children, Young People and Families Team to ensure all children and young people are valued, happy, healthy, safe and empowered to actively participate in our community.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Children, Young People and Families, the role will be responsible for:
Administration and project support across the team.
Providing finance support including compliance checks within procurement guidelines.
Coordinating external communications of team events and newsletters and supporting social media accounts.
Support the operations of the Youth Hub, working with internal and external hirers to support programming and centre operations.
Provide regular and accurate data of services provided across the team while supporting record keeping processes and systems to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Commitment to quality outcomes and efficient work practices.
Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive administrative support.
Demonstrated experience in project support with multiple stakeholders.
Comprehensive computer skills across the Microsoft Office range of applications.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
