The opportunities
The Executive Assistant works closely with the Executive Officer to provide administrative and operational support directly to the Deputy Secretary. The role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion and initiative in dealing with sensitive and/or confidential matters. The role provides direct exposure to the Executive, a diverse range of policy, operational and management issues, and high-level collaboration, communication and coordination within DFAT, Ministers Offices and across government.
