Reporting to the Manager Economy and Prosperity, this position is responsible for providing outstanding generalist administrative and financial support to the department.
The Administration Officer should demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethics, coupled with strong communication skills. They must excel in a fast-paced team environment, with the ability to multitask and meet competing deadlines. Key skills required include experience in correspondence management, appointment scheduling, and file management.
For this position we offer:
- Base Salary $72,508.28 - $79,607.52 per annum (Stream A, Level 2 – 3)
- Nominally 72.5 hours per fortnight
- Permanent Position
- RDO (Rostered Days Off) in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement

About You:
We are seeking an enthusiastic person who possesses:
- Excellent communication, engagement and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in correspondence management, controlling a diary and file management.
- Experience in an Administrative support role.
- Adept problem-solving abilities while meeting deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proficiency in both independent work and effective teamwork, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
