Trainee Administration Officer – Liveability and Sustainability
Do you want to make a difference in your community, support the delivery of sustainable future for the Isaac Region and providing consistent and reliable technical advice, decision-making and stewardship. Then a Liveability and Sustainability Administration Traineeship is for you.
- Location: Moranbah
- Qualification: Certificate III in Business
- Duration: 12-month Traineeship (full-time)
- Hours & Days: 8:26am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight)
- Benefits: Paid employment, 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) @ 17.5% loading, up to 14% super, RDOs
Trainee Administration Officer – Community Education and Compliance
Would you like to make a positive impact in your community? Help deliver community education to ensure everyone understands the regional rules and the Council’s regulatory and enforcement roles, along with the reasons behind them.
- Location: Moranbah
- Qualification: Certificate III in Business
- Duration: 12-month Traineeship (full-time)
- Hours & Days: 8:26am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight)
- Benefits: Paid employment, 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) @ 17.5% loading, up to 14% super, RDOs
Trainee ICT Officer
The Corporate, Governance & Financial Services directorate ensures an integrated approach to internal organisational services across the organisation. The Information Solutions department is responsible for technology functions across Council.
- Location: Moranbah
- Qualification: Certificate III in Information Technology
- Duration: 24-month Traineeship (full-time)
- Hours & Days: 8:26am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight)
- Benefits: Paid employment, 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) @ 17.5% loading, up to 14% super, RDOs
Trainee Water and Wastewater Operator
The Trainee – Water and Waste Operator position provides assistance in general day to day tasks undertaken in the water and wastewater plants and throughout Isaac Regional Council.
- Location: Moranbah
- Qualification: Certificate III in Water Industry Operations
- Duration: 24-month Traineeship (full-time)
- Hours & Days: 76 hours p/fortnight, as per roster
- Benefits: Paid employment, 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)@ 17.5% loading, up to 14% super, RDOs
Trainee Finance Officer
The Trainee – Finance Officer position provides assistance to the finance team in any aspects as per the direction of the Manager of Financial Services to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
- Location: Moranbah
- Qualification: Certificate III in Business
- Duration: 12-month Traineeship (full-time)
- Hours & Days: 8:26am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (9-day fortnight)
- Benefits: Paid employment, 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata) @ 17.5% loading, up to 14% super, RDOs
What You Need:
- Be ready to start in mid-January 2025.
- Commit to the full term of the Traineeship and study requirements.
- Be eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
