About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for two Aboriginal Mental Health Trainees to join the team in Lismore and Grafton. This position is located within and functions as part of the Mental Health team. The position will also undertake and meet the requirements of the Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) degree. Under supervision and as part of the multidisciplinary team, the position will participate in the development and implementation of adult mental health services to promote the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal people and the wider community. The position is focused on activities to prevent and intervene in the development of mental health and drug and alcohol problems.
It is a requirement of the position to complete a Bachelor of Health Science (Mental Health) degree through the Djirruwang Program at Charles Sturt University.
