Franklin D Azar & Associates is seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to become an integral part of our team. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to apply their expertise in a growing legal practice. Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys in all stages of Workers' Compensation case preparation and management.
Thoroughly review and analyze medical records, insurance documents, and other pertinent information.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Maintain effective communication with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
Organize, manage, and maintain case files and legal documents.
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
Conduct legal research and stay informed of developments in Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
Provide administrative support to attorneys as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification.
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal.
Proficient in legal research, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
