SUMMARY
This position is responsible in assisting in supervising the team and location they are assigned. This position is also responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks, including but not limited to picking, packing, forklift operations, receiving operations, cycle counts of inventory. The position requires the highest level of accuracy due to customer expectations. This position may require a forklift certification as well as handling/sorting of parts into racks or containers throughout the day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will be responsible for assigning the daily jobs for each member of your team and leading the before shift meetings. This individual will help in monitoring stop call waits, proper PPE usage, and assist with any questions a member of their team may have. Monitor that end of shift checklist is handled timely and properly. This individual will need to understand their area they are assigned to ensure it is run properly. Maintaining a clean and safe work area utilizing the principles of 5S Participates in the facilities Safety program. Training, Hiyari Hatto reporting, Risk Assessment, Observation of Safety policies of the company and facility. Participates in team meetings. Lead all efforts in training new and existing employees on proper Standard Operating Procedures. Assist Supervisors in monitoring Standard Operating Procedures for team members by monitoring and correcting. Reporting to Supervisor that further training may be required. Occasionally operate forklift. Occasionally will need to pull parts from designated part racks and place said parts into the staged racks for the costumer. Checks completed work for accuracy. Checks parts for damages. Review computer printout for accuracy regarding the staged racks. Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This individual will be responsible for the recommendation of promotion for their subordinates. Training subordinates. Being able to perform the same type of work as their subordinates. Handle subordinate complaints. Determining and/or planning the work of the subordinates. Evaluating the subordinates’ efficiency and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
