Background & Purpose of the Job
Perform and coordinate the day-to-day administration of the Hammond Factory Storeroom activities as they relate to spare parts and supplies inventories, personnel, and data collection, meeting all financial and effective maintenance guidelines and targets. Responsible for the day-to-day procurement, receiving and stock issue activities associated with the Hammond Parts Storeroom. Maintain inventory targets while improving service level through MRP and related inventory management techniques. Organize storm room per WCM Principles to facilitate quick retrieval of spare parts when needed. This role will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Order parts to maintain accurate spare parts stock levels for the Hammond Factory

Adjust stock levels and lead times as need to maintain correct inventory of spare parts

Communicate specifications to vendors to obtain quotations

Coordinate repairs of spare parts with vendors

Coordinate cycle counts and annual physical inventory

Organize storeroom to minimize part retrieval time

Analyze data to optimize spare part inventory levels
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential

1-3 years purchasing or inventory management experience

Understanding of mechanical spare parts

Understanding of electrical spare parts

Excellent computer skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: The pay range for this position is $84,400 to $126,600. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
