Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities equipment.
Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; put up and take down special event decorations.
Polices interior and exterior areas of building and grounds, and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use.
Maybe required to drive a motor vehicle as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

PCS Costs

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay.
When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
