Professional Pet Groomer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services to our furry clients.
Responsibilities
- Bathe, brush, and style pets' fur according to owners' instructions or standard cuts for specific breeds
- Trim pets' nails, clean their ears, and check for signs of health issues such as ear infections or skin problems
- Ensure pets are safe and comfortable throughout the grooming process
- Provide basic grooming services such as anal gland expression and teeth brushing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Experience in pet grooming or certification from a grooming school is preferred
- Proficiency in handling various breeds of dogs and cats
- Knowledge of different coat types and appropriate grooming techniques
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Ability to lift heavy pets and stand for extended periods
