Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
Develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies.
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic in every interaction
Attend training and continuing education courses.
Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on other relevant duties assigned to contribute to the agency's overall success.
Requirements
A Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive, resourceful, and be coachable.
Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Proficiency in multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up.
Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
Problem-Solving Capabilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
2+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
Proficiency in sales, with a track record demonstrating ability to sell.
