Plaintiff's personal injury firm is seeking to hire a managing paralegal with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to join our growing offices in Fort Lee, NJ. Minimum 5 years’ (Plaintiff's) experience. Must be able to draft pleadings independently. Must know New Jersey plaintiff's personal injury litigation procedure. - Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, drafting interrogatories
- Organize and maintain case files, including indexing and filing documents
- Perform data entry tasks to update case information in document management systems
- Assist with gathering medical records to send to insurance companies and adversaries
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a litigation paralegal on NJ Plaintiff's Personal Injury work;
- Proficient in computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in file management, including organizing and maintaining case files
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
