About This Position
Christiana Care is searching for a Patient Experience Project Manager to manage and operationalize performance improvement Patient Experience related projects throughout the Christiana Care Health System under the direction of the Patient Experience leadership. This position will be the facilitator, coach, analyst, and consultant as well as assist and guide the support teams to redesign and improve processes, behaviors, and outcomes. The PX Project Manager will also develop project plans and timelines while bringing together resources as needed and working with many functional areas throughout Christiana Care.
Principal duties and responsibilities:
Leads PX project teams from design implementation to completion ensuring that all goals and objectives are met throughout the process.
Researches and implements innovative approaches to improving Patient Experience practices through design improvement projects and methodologies.
Utilizes data from various and appropriate sources to develop effective benchmarks used in the data analysis to change practice.
Plans, develops, and maintains work in an organized manner that is consistent with the department leadership and organizational goals.
Anticipates the needs of customers and addresses these promptly and appropriately.
Supports meetings by preparing and sending out the appropriate meeting materials and sends communications prior to and after meetings.
Prepares, analyzes, and presents detailed data and project related information to support the work using Excel.
Assists in developing presentations that provide clear accurate information and are supported with exhibits, Powerpoint presentations, oral and or written reports using Word and Power Point.

Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred
5+ years of project management experience
Experience with health care operations
Proven success managing large projects using multiple project management techniques
Experience evaluating and implementing new technology solutions
Demonstrated certification and /or experience in advanced improvement science methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma, etc.)
