Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our legal team in various aspects of case management and legal documentation. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings, ensuring that all legal documents are accurate and filed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes
- Manage case files and ensure all client documents are properly maintained
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Assist in the preparation of witness and exhibit lists for trials
- Communicate with clients and maintain strong professional relationships
Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Experience with legal research and case law
- Proficient in drafting legal documents and pleadings
- Familiarity with mediation and deposition processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
