Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver
If you reside in Yamhill County, Marion and Polk Counties, in cities such as Mc Minnville, Newberg, Salem, Lafayette, Sheridan, Sherwood, Amity, Carlton, Gaston, Dallas, Dundee, Woodburn, Willamina, Kaiser and Tualatin areas, you are Encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a van to transport passengers to their destinations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the van, including those with mobility challenges
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the van
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the van
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch
- Adhere to schedules and routes provided by the company

Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience in school bus driving, commercial driving, or similar roles is preferred
- Ability to drive a van safely and responsibly
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers and dispatch
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance to ensure the van is in good working condition
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
- Familiarity with paratransit or bus driving is a plus
