Job Summary
You will have the ability to monitor, dispatch and load balance work orders to field personnel. Responds to requests on information and provides communication between customer service representatives and field personnel.
Essential Functions
- Answers the telephone and performs call-ahead request for field technicians.
- Receives and dispatches non-emergency work orders to support daily and emergency operations
- Dispatches orders via Mobile Data and Dispatching Solution
- Monitors, routes, and documents work orders to service technicians; reviews backlogged work orders.
- Coordinates daily operational requirements between internal and external stakeholders
- Resolves scheduling concerns between the company’s Call Center, customers, and supervision to achieve optimum results.
- Acts as liaison between the company, customers, state and local governmental agencies in an emergency situation.
Education Description
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Experience
- Requires one year experience with SAP or a mobile data dispatching system and at least one year experience in/or supporting gas distribution operations or at least one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
