Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the clinical laboratory environment, performing essential laboratory procedures that support patient diagnosis and treatment. This position requires proficiency in specimen collection, processing, and analysis, as well as a strong understanding of various laboratory techniques and data management.
Responsibilities

Perform specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture and other methods as required.
Conduct laboratory procedures such as ELISA, RNA extraction, and blood banking.
Ensure accurate data management and documentation of laboratory results.
Assist in clinical trials by preparing samples and maintaining compliance with protocols.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide timely results for patient care.
Participate in quality control measures to uphold the integrity of laboratory processes.

Experience

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred, with familiarity in hospital environments being a plus.
Proficiency in specimen collection processing and knowledge of blood banking practices is highly desirable.
Experience with laboratory data management systems and clinical trial protocols is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy in results.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and healthcare providers.
