The Role
We are seeking a regional Studio Security Operations Manager to be the point of contact for the day-to-day physical security operations covering the Netflix Studio sites located in UCAN. This includes managing a physical security team, oversight of contract security services, facility access control and identifying physical security vulnerabilities. This position will be based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and will report to the Director of Security and Intelligence UCAN. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple and varied responsibilities and understand how to respond effectively and decisively.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000 - $245,000.

The Role

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day security operations (production offices/stages)
-
Ability to manage a geographically dispersed team
-
Develop key cross-functional relationships with the Netflix Studio Management Services (SMS) team and third-party security vendors; as well as ensuring cohesion across the site’s security and safety functions
-
Lead site incident management procedures, investigations and trackers
-
Identify physical security vulnerabilities and provide cost effective solutions

Liaise with individual productions, unit productions managers, and other creatives to ensure all productions have a commensurate level of security support at all times

Support other Netflix Studios facilities and production sites across the UCAN region as needed.

Manage access control procedures, including badging and credentialing

Assist with the design and implementation of production security awareness programs.

Stay up-to-date on the local security environment and identify emerging security trends that may impact the company

Analyze and investigate threats and security incidents impacting Studio facilities
Qualifications
-
At least 3+ years of management experience
-
Strong entertainment industry and/or studio security operations experience preferred. Similar fields in security management will be considered for this role.

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) desired; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
-
Knowledge and experience in RFP/RFI process, including new vendor onboarding.

Experience in program development with delivery accountability

Foundational understanding of collection and analysis of security metrics to inform decisions, including conducting risk and vulnerability assessments and operational security design/planning
-
Able to respond after-hours to important, timely or urgent matters as required

Experience interacting with all levels of production company staff (ex. grips, executives, producers, talent representatives, post-production crews, creative teams) preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be discrete and handle confidential information

Experience with various security technologies and systems (cameras, card readers, radios, etc.) a must

Proven ability to lean into risk while also responding quickly and effectively to security, safety, and sensitive situations that arise
