What will you be doing:
Under the general direction of the Administrative Officer and Superintendent, this position is responsible for maintaining and repairing the infrastructure of the Ketchikan Correctional Center (KCC). Incumbent must have the ability to complete all of the duties, functions and tasks independently and with minimal supervision.

Ketchikan Correctional Center is located on a remote island that is located in a beautiful rainforest in Southeast Alaska. The Maintenance Specialist performs all maintenance and repair functions for the Ketchikan Correctional Center.
Who we are looking for:
Ketchikan Correctional Center is looking for someone who is fully proficient, able to work independently, and able to use standard maintenance methods and techniques in a wide variety of areas (plumbing, electrical, HVAC). Journey workers can use a variety of interrelated skills to independently complete work that conforms to industry standards.
