Long Term Substitute Teacher
Overview
We are seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
- Maintain a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
- Provide instruction, encourage student participation, and manage classroom behavior
- Adapt teaching methods to meet students' varying needs
- Support students in their learning and academic growth
- Follow school policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting
- Knowledge of educational practices and principles
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to different teaching environments
- Preferred experience in areas such as preschool, math, special education, behavior management, curriculum development, tutoring, early childhood education, or working with individuals with autism
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.44 - $36.81 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
