Job Details:

Position Summary:

Work as a team member of the transportation crew in the moving of poults from the brooder hubs to the finishers and their other daily activities, including cleaning and washing brooder barns.

Start time: 3:30am-DONE 8-9 hrs shifts

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Participate in brooder hub moving per schedules.
Perform preventative maintenance of poult loaders, washers and trailers.
Follow best practices in the transporting of turkeys.
Participate in the timely moving of poults from the brooder hubs to the finisher sites.
Follow the Farms biosecurity program at all times.
Move birds.
Wash and disinfect the brooder barns.
Adhere and enforce all Hillshire Brands safety policies.
Perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by department lead and/or supervisor.

Requirements (minimum requirements in order to be considered for the job)

Must be able to understand and convey written and oral communication.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
Must have effective use of all four limbs or equivalent.
Corrected near 20/20 vision.
Able to pass a drug screening.
Must be able to communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and management.
