Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum support.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health, administering medications and interventions as needed.
- Assist in labor management, including natural births, C-sections, and emergency procedures.
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, midwives, and anesthesiologists.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Current NY RN license.
- Minimum 2 +years of experience in labor and delivery (required).
- AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NRP certifications (current and valid).
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work during the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
