y Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -
  • tablishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization -
  • llow up calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers -
  • searches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential -
  • velops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers -
  • pedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints -
  • ordinates sales effort with sales management, marketing, accounting, logistics and R&D -
  • alyzes potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization -
  • ans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment -
  • pplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services -
  • eps up-to-date knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas -
  • rticipates in trade shows and conventions -
  • velops strategy and sets policy and procedures to support successful product launches. -
  • ersee all sales projects from concept to delivery. -
  • rticipate in cross functional teams within manufacturing and retail to develop strategies supporting market growth. -
  • ovide guidance and leadership to the manufacturing staff and leadership team from the sales perspective. -
  • port the daily, weekly, and monthly data information as needed to maintain sales activities. -

alifications: -
  • st be 18 years of age or older -
  • years related sales experience -
  • perience in direct and broker sales -
  • perience in the food manufacturing industry required -
  • monstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach) -
  • st be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment -
  • st possess excellent verbal and written communication skills -
  • oficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software -
  • ility to travel up to 70% of the time as needed -
  • st possess the ability to set and achieve sales goals -
  • st have valid state driver’s license -
