IT Helpdesk Analyst

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing primary and secondary IT operations, with a focus on providing quality support and enhancing the user experience across various platforms, software, and hardware
  • Aid in carrying out helpdesk projects, focusing on solutions that improve the user experience within the scope of larger business initiatives
  • Help with essential IT tasks that directly impact the user experience in a multi-faceted business environment
  • Contribute to the enhancement of helpdesk processes, implementing analytics to provide insightful user experience data
  • Support the maintenance of a stable IT infrastructure, prioritizing network consistency to ensure a seamless user experience
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate updates on helpdesk project progress, activities, and achievements that improve user experience
  • Assist with server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, and resource monitoring, to maintain a steady user experience
  • Help monitor the health of the data center using existing management tools, addressing hardware issues as they arise to minimize disruption to users
  • Support the maintenance of internal infrastructure, such as computers, servers, and networking hardware, to provide optimal user access and experience
  • As a team member in the helpdesk department, work with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support to users as needed
  • Aid in conducting routine audits of the systems, ensuring the security and reliability of systems that users interact with
  • Help execute other support-oriented tasks and responsibilities as delegated by management.

Education/Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science preferred
  • Proven work experience in IT
  • Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
  • Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
  • Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
  • Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication

Other Duties:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
