Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in managing primary and secondary IT operations, with a focus on providing quality support and enhancing the user experience across various platforms, software, and hardware
Aid in carrying out helpdesk projects, focusing on solutions that improve the user experience within the scope of larger business initiatives
Help with essential IT tasks that directly impact the user experience in a multi-faceted business environment
Contribute to the enhancement of helpdesk processes, implementing analytics to provide insightful user experience data
Support the maintenance of a stable IT infrastructure, prioritizing network consistency to ensure a seamless user experience
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate updates on helpdesk project progress, activities, and achievements that improve user experience
Assist with server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, and resource monitoring, to maintain a steady user experience
Help monitor the health of the data center using existing management tools, addressing hardware issues as they arise to minimize disruption to users
Support the maintenance of internal infrastructure, such as computers, servers, and networking hardware, to provide optimal user access and experience
As a team member in the helpdesk department, work with other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root causes, and provide technical support to users as needed
Aid in conducting routine audits of the systems, ensuring the security and reliability of systems that users interact with
Help execute other support-oriented tasks and responsibilities as delegated by management.
Education/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science preferred
Proven work experience in IT
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft Azure)
Expertise in creating, analyzing, and repairing large-scale distributed systems
Creating volumes, assigning to servers and remote replication
