HR Onboarding Specialist

The Human Resources Onboarding Specialist assists with onboarding new employees to the organization. The Onboarding Specialist carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: Orientation to Culture, Mission, Vision, AIDET, and general information. Also assists the new employees in all paperwork, education, employee health, and other requirements for employment. Any additional duties assigned by the Director of HR.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
  • Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains that they are current. Submits the online investigation requests and administers with new employee background checks.
  • Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
  • Audit the HR system to ensure accuracy of system.
