Description: The Health Clerk assists school nurses throughout the district with the organization, filing and maintenance of student health information as well as data entry into the district’s electronic medical records system (SNAP). The position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
PAY: $23.10-$26.17/hour
HOURS: 20 hrs/5 days a week, school year
This position works in the Farmington Public Schools Health Offices.
The position does not include medical benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate should have experience in clerical field

Candidate should demonstrate typing, filing, and data entry skills

Candidate should demonstrate ability to maintain productive working relationships with school personnel, students, and families

A successful candidate demonstrates ability to maintain the confidentiality of student health records and information

A successful candidate will work collaboratively, independently, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask and prioritize

A successful candidate demonstrates willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel to various schools throughout the district as needed.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collect, organize, and file student health information and other health office records

Enter student health information into the district’s electronic health records system (SNAP)

Assist with day-to-day clerical functions in the school health offices

Greet visitors and receive telephone calls to the school health offices

Respond to non-clinical inquiries from school staff, students and families

Operate office equipment required to complete assignments

Perform related duties, as assigned by the school nurse and/or district nursing supervisor

Performs related duties, as assigned by the supervisor/evaluator
