SUMMARY: The Front Desk Clerk will assist guests upon arrival to the Coeur d Alene Casino Resort Hotel and throughout their stay. Confidently working closely with hotel teams, housekeeping, guest services and call center as well as casino teams when required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet all customers of the Coeur d Alene Casino Resort Hotel.
Clerks are responsible for making reservations, as well as checking guests in and out of hotel, making room assignments based on requests and availability.
Process payments which includes cash, credit card payments and other in house forms, processing payments accurately and being accountable for daily till and paperwork.
Provide excellent tribal hospitalityand customer service while following CCRH and inter departmental policies and procedures.
Check guests in and out of the hotel including obtaining payment for their rooms.
Assist guests with making hotel, spa, and golf reservations.
Maintain knowledge of rates, location, and furnishings of all rooms.
Complete appropriate paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure all transactions and ending bank are accurate.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the front desk area.
Deliver rollaways, cribs, and additional guest supplies as needed.
Ensure room guarantees and cancel all non-guaranteed reservations as appropriate.
Defer all customer concerns to the Front Desk Lead or Hotel Manager immediately.
Attend all meetings, trainings, and workshops as required by the Hotel Manager.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience:
Coeur d Alene Tribal gaming license required.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Six months of previous related experience preferred.
Previous customer service experience required.
Skills/Knowledge:
At least six-months previous cashiering experience required.
Computer skills/knowledge required; keyboarding is a heavy portion of position.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word operations preferred.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
The ability to manage conflict and influence outcomes preferred.
Must be adept at multi-tasking.
Must be able to search for solutions in differing situations; the ability to develop solutions in ambiguous and complex situations preferred.
Must be skilled at following broad policies with minimal supervision.
