SUMMARY: The Greeter will provide excellent customer service to the guests of the restaurant outlets of the Coeur d Alene Casino Resort Hotel by directing guests to appropriate sections based upon server availability. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Immediately upon the guests arrival at the greeter stand or upon the greeters return from seating another guest make eye contact and greet customers in a friendly manner.
Enter guests name and information into reservation system at front desk
Seat guests in dining areas as soon as a table is available to accommodate their party size.
Suggest seating in the bar for over 21 & patio when the dining room is full
Rotate tables in server sections daily
Answer guest inquiries.
Maintain a reservation list as appropriate.
Keep a positive friendly attitude at all times, even in stressful situations
Answer telephone and assist callers, politely and with a smile.
Bus, clean, and set tables as needed.
Keep greeter stand clean and organized.
Wipe down menus as they come back to the greeter stand
Pull silverware and plates off of the tables so the guest count matches the amount of plates/silverware
Hold up our Coeur Spirit standards.
Other projects and duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience:
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Must pass level I Greeter testing within 90 days of hire.
Skills/Knowledge:
Excellent customer service skills required.
6 months greeter experience required
Must work well in a team environment.
R-Guest Seat experience preferred
Excellent verbal communication skills required.
Strong organization and presentation skills preferred.
Basic problem solving and prioritizing skills preferred.
