Job Summary
Essential Job Duties
- Calculate student budgets, review need analysis and determine student eligibility for federal financial aid
- Process loans for federal student aid
- Counsel students and parents regarding financial aid programs
- Perform satisfactory evaluation for students
- Talk with interested groups about financial aid
- Package student in selected groups their financial aid award
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related area
- At least two years of related work experience in a college or university financial aid office
Physical Demands
Skills and Attributes
- Provide excellent customer service in a courteous manner
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with university personnel, students and parents
- Ability to implement financial aid activities in conformity with federal and state regulations within university policies and procedures
