Facilities Project Manager

Project Manager

The Project Manager will provide tactical direction, support, and control for the delivery of small projects at the site including negotation of contracts and management of services including but not limited to production equipment moves, tenant improvement, crating, deliveries, vendor management for contracted services, painting, occupant moves and other work requests that are required to support production operations. Additionally, the PM will provide support as required to construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Project management and coordination of customer generated work requests supporting offices, data centers, labs, and production spaces.
• Drive value for money but selecting the optimal subcontracting strategy and/or insourcing of labor.
• Oversee projects from design through completion of construction ranging from equipment moves, crating/uncrating, deliveries, scrap barrel moves, furniture repairs, misc. facility repairs, facility upgrades, etc.
• Develop, implement, and achieve SLA’s.
• Developing scope and schedule for tenant and building improvement projects and relocation projects
• Manage all financial aspects of each project through its conclusion.
• Coordinate activities of consultants and contractors
• Managing building improvement projects.
• Provide support Managing site maintenance activities, Landscaping, elevators, preventive maintenance, reactive repair /maintenance and custodial efforts.
• Addressing clients’ special requests and post-move relocation concerns when necessary.
• Provide technical support, project budgeting, scheduling, and cost reports.
• Interface with architects, client staff, property managers and vendors
• Field Verification and quality control of subcontractor work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management or equivalent of related field experience.
• 5+ years experience working on commercial or industrial setting.
• Experience in an owner’s representative role for corporate clients
• Experience working with subcontractors of varying trades.
• Demonstrate a high level of performance in project budgeting, contract negotiations and scheduling.
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate in MS Project, Excel, and Word
• PMP Certification is preferred
