At Work Force WV, this position is in the Work Force Development section located in our Parkersburg local office. This position will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans aligned with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity ACT (WIOA) guidelines. Analyzes laws and regulations governing the program or specialty area and apply them appropriately to resolve problems and ensure compliance. Interprets laws and regulations governing the program or specialty area for participants and staff. Collaborate on determining the need for changes in procedures, guidelines, and formats. Devises resolutions and changes and monitors success. Writes program manuals, edits and details new procedures, etc. accurately. Represents the program to outside entities fostering effective communication and coordination among various departments and external partners. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Training: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
OR
Substitution: Additional experience as described below may substitute for the required training at the rate of one (1) year of experience for every thirty (30) semester hours of training.
AND
Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in providing programmatic assistance to staff, users or participants in a program, or experience in customer service, banking, human resources, telemarketing, sales, or hospitality.
OR
Substitution: Graduate coursework from an accredited college or university may substitute at a rate of fifteen (15) semester hours for every one (1) year of required experience.
