Compliance Analyst

What You’ll Do:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our compliance team. In this highly regulated industry, it is critical to find a detail oriented, compliance driven individual to join our team. If you are detail oriented, can maintain confidentiality in all situations and are able to easily adapt to and reprioritize work, we want to hear from you!
In this role you will focus on maintaining compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies requirements. This position will be responsible for responding to customer grievances, monitoring field activity, including reviewing reports that will assist management in evaluating agent activity and overall compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws and regulations. This position will be responsible for independently conducting investigations pertaining to field distribution sales practice violations to include issues relating to non-compliance with company policies, industry rule violations, and business conduct deficiencies. This position will be responsible for assisting with obtaining approvals from the appropriate regulatory state, federal and other regulatory agencies and maintain compliance with periodic filing requirements.

In this role you will need:
- Strong technical skills with the ability to learn and catch on quickly to changing technology
- High attention to detail
- Ability to maintain compliance with Federal, State and other regulatory agencies for insurance companies
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize work when demands change
- College degree or equivalent experience required plus at least one-year related work experience preferred.
- Regulatory product filing experience (or SERFF) is a plus.
- Must have good research, analytical, organization and decision-making skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be knowledgeable regarding Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Reasonably regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa.
