The Apprentice, reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. This one-to-two-year apprenticeship program at Northwestern Medicine will provide each participant with both experience and training. No prior experience is needed to join this program. The program consists of on-the-job training while attending courses to complete your associate’s degree in a related field. Responsibilities:
Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine.
Successfully complete projects and work tasks assigned.
Develop a working knowledge of hospital operations to a degree that allows for the successful completion of projects supporting a variety of hospital operations.
Develop working relationships with staff and management that allows for successful business interactions across all levels of the organization.
Participation in activities designed for the development of apprentices during their assignment at Northwestern Medicine.
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Current enrollment in certificate program
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Product suite (e.g., Word, Excel, One Note and Power Point).
