Chipper Operator

Come work for Wyoming Sugar Company during our Campaign season! We're searching for an unbeatable group of people who are ready to grow in their careers or just work seasonally.
This is a shift position, either days or nights, running off the "Pitman Schedule". For each two or three day or night shift worked, you get that many off.
Essential Duties

Sweeping and cleaning, various yard duties
Possible forklift/motorized equipment operation and lifting heavy packages and equipment.
Wash down any mud to sump to keep from any large accumulations.
Chip recovery maintenance and keep drainage clear.
Clean clarifier underflow pump area.
Run chipper operations - ensure areas are clean and set water flow.
All other duties assigned by Supervisor or foreman.

Qualifications

None, entry level

Competencies and skill set

Good verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills
Ability to follow established procedures
Professional appearance and etiquette required
Basic math skills

Physical Demands and Expectations

Able to lift, bend, walk, climb stairs
Able to work in varying temperatures from below zero to above 100 ⁰F
Able to stand on feet for upwards of 8 hours
