Serve as a liaison between third party gathering companies and production management through surveillance, using cygnet and one map to help identify issues and then communicate to all parties in order to minimize impact and unnecessary downtime.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate and work with other Mid-stream personnel and field Operators for daily operation of the pipeline systems.
- Our primary function is to monitor and report any third-party system disruptions and cascade this information out to the affected area, using cygnet, PLOT, one map.
- Monitor and build inventory for right sizing on compression and flow path projects to help reduce the impact of pressure related issues across the system.
- Build a comprehensive third-party gathering map to help facilitate training within HILCORP.
- Compile all weekly and daily impacts for Houston AM meeting and follow up with any questions from previous day impacts.
- Monitor Mainline, Plant Inlet, Gathering System, Production area flows and inform Houston, for scheduling purposes, and production of volume shortages
- Relay any impacts on plants, mainlines, and gathering system to affected groups to help explain volume shortages
- Send weekly Downtime and Upcoming maintenance reports to management
- Conduct daily/weekly conference calls with wellhead scheduling and commercial groups to discuss volume scheduling and market conditions
- Conduct daily conference calls with Third-party Gatherers to discuss current and upcoming production outages
- Report high line pressures to Third-party Gatherers so that high pressure issues can be resolved along with tracking the process from notification to completion.
- Attend employee meetings.
- Answer all gathering system questions from Management and Operations.
- Effectively communicate and work with Producers and other Pipeline Control facilities daily, setting flow rates, scheduled shutdowns, emergency shutdowns, pressures and any other issue that may arise.
- Monitors all control loops on pipelines.
- Conducts and/or coordinates ongoing maintenance and general housekeeping of the control room.
- Procures necessary materials and supplies to complete daily tasks Reads automatic gauges, as specified intervals, to determine flow rate of gas and oil.

Other Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).

Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years of oil and gas production experience
- Preferred: one (1) to three (3) years of pipeline control room experience
- Ability to accurately solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
- Ability to be on-call as needed on weekends and holidays.
- Ability to accurately perform tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good administrative and organizational skills.

- Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook).

Education Requirements:
- Graduation from a high school or GED equivalent or any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating sufficient knowledge, ability and skill to handle the duties and responsibilities of the position.
