Equipment Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including front loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers. This role is essential in supporting our construction projects and ensuring that all equipment is operated safely and efficiently on-site.
Duties

Operate heavy equipment such as front loader trucks, backhoes, and bulldozers to perform various tasks on construction sites.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans effectively and efficiently.
Load and unload materials using roll-off trucks and other equipment as needed.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment during operations.
Assist in building projects by performing excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating heavy machinery such as front loaders, backhoes, and bulldozers.
Familiarity with farm machinery and commercial driving is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality and perform basic repairs.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while following instructions from supervisors.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
Previous experience working on construction sites is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all operations.

Pay: $21.79 - $23.12 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 80 per week
