Qualifications:
- •Prior experience in purchasing preferred
- •Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- •High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- •Satisfies needs for medical supplies for all community service areas.
- •Purchases medical supplies according to community guidelines to maintain adequate levels.
- •Ensures proper recording of supplies that are shipped, received, or transported internally from or into the central supply room.
- •Ensures central supply area is maintained in an organized manner.
- •Completes and documents a monthly inventory of all medical supplies.
- •Produces inventory reports as required.
- •Coordinates and prepares packages to be shipped via carriers for staff and residents; receives packages via carrier for staff and residents and ensures proper delivery.
- •Actively participates in the community Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Program.
- •May participate in the development of the central supply budget.
- •Performs other administrative or clerical duties as assigned.
