Centralized Scheduler

SRI is seeking committed and passionate professionals to provide critical Centralized Scheduling Services to the Navy’s Fleet and Family Support Programs (FFSPs) designed to maximize the well-being of active duty, retirees, civilians (OCONUS) and their families.
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Centralized Scheduler to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of appointments and programs within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative support within a medical or social service setting, excellent computer skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. Tasks and Responsibilities: As a Centralized Scheduler, you will be responsible for receiving and screening calls and walk-in customers, scheduling appointments and group programs, and maintaining accurate schedules and rosters. You will also participate in emergency preparedness and response activities, ensuring that all related services are documented and managed efficiently. Your role will be essential in ensuring that our services are delivered seamlessly and that our customers receive the support they need in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive, screen, and schedule callers and walk-in customers for individual appointments and group programs.
  • Maintain up-to-date schedules of staff providing individual appointments and manage rosters for upcoming group programs.
  • Manage daily scheduling, including notifying customers of unscheduled staff absences and rescheduling appointments as requested.
  • Maintain direct service metrics for all staff for whom scheduling services are provided.
  • Participate in emergency response exercises as directed by the Region, Installation, or Family Fleet and Support Program (FFSP).
  • Facilitate FFSP participation in public awareness campaigns, such as Ready Navy.
  • Implement emergency response plans during actual situations requiring humanitarian response.
  • Execute responsibilities related to the Emergency Family Assistance Center as needed.
  • Ensure all information and referral services related to emergency preparedness and response are accurately entered into FFSMIS.

  • None.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional in pressured situations.
  • Proficiency in computer and office automation software, including scheduling systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, staff, and management.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience providing administrative support in a medical or social service office.
  • Excellent proficiency with computer and office automation software.
  • Experience in a scheduling or customer service role is highly desirable.
