This is an Accelerated Compensation Developmental Position (ACDP). In the development period, the incumbent receives tailored instructions, guidance, training, and supervision designed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for successful performance at the full performance level. Supervision becomes progressively less detailed as incumbent gains more experience. Incumbent may be eligible for non-competitive ACDP basic pay increases within a six month period, within the target broadband level or non-competitive promotion to the higher broadband level upon meeting the following requirements: (1) Incumbent completes all required training and conditions of employment; 2) successfully met the benchmark and objective requirements for developmental activities, accomplishment of higher level work, and contribution expectations; and 3) results as well as quality of performance determined by the supervisor. Therefore, ACDP basic pay increase or non-competitive promotion to the higher broadband level is not guaranteed.
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Minimum Qualifications Requirements for the Administrative and Management Positions:
General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes providing contract development and contract monitoring support. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-1/GS-04).

Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. (You must provide a copy of your transcripts).
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
Position may be filled as a Term appointment NTE 2 years. Employees hired under the modified term appointment may be eligible for conversion to career-conditional appointments or career appointments. This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as the following requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service and employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointments of at least full successful or equivalent.
NOTE: If a current Army employee with personal competitive status accepts a time-limited appointment (such as a term appointment), the Army employee forfeits their permanent status and becomes subject to the provisions of the term appointment.
