Accounting Specialist
Accounting Specialist, A/R and A/P
$20.00 to $24.00 per hour
The Islander Group, Hawaii’s premier distributor and importer of gifts, stationery and general merchandise products is currently seeking a mature-minded, reliable individual with excellent attention to detail to join our Accounting team.
This individual must possess strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently, have initiative as well as a positive attitude.
Requirements and duties include:
· Process payments to vendors
· Input invoices into computer system
· File paid invoices
· Reconcile vendor statement, research, and correct discrepancies
· Set up new vendors
· Review A/P aging reports
· Ability to meet deadlines
· Two years or more of experience in a similar office position
· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
