SUMMARY OF THE ROLE This role is for a Accounting Associate that will work in our Sioux Falls office and assist with accounting functions. Details about the functions of the role are listed below. This role will report to the Fiduciary Accounting Officer and Controller. JOB FUNCTIONS
Posting information or opening accounts in the Company's trust accounting software.
Helping complete quarterly reconciliations for trust accounts.
Assisting with billing process for client accounts.
Assisting with the daily transaction process, including posting and processing the same.
Updating client accounts with correct values of assets, adding new assets to the accounting system, etc.
Helping to oversee the tax process for accounts - we do not complete tax returns in-house but need to ensure that the CPAs on the file get the right information and complete the returns.
Assist the Controller with following up on tax notices and processing tax payments.
Helping with AR process for client accounts and following up on the same.
Assist with movements of cash (wire transfers, deposits, transfers, ACH, checks).
Assist with perform cash management sweep processing.
Assisting with LLC renewals for entities.
Performing other requested tasks and functions as explained and assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION — Bachelors degree or above required. HOURS — Standard business hours are anticipated, but occasionally unscheduled evening and weekend work may be needed to meet some high-volume or emergency needs. — This position will start in January 2025. TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED AS NEEDED. YOU DO NOT NEED ANY PARTICULAR BACKGROUND IN ORDER TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE. WHAT YOU DO NEED, IS:

OFFERED COMPENSATION PACKAGE Because we believe in transparency, the full compensation package for the role is listed below:
Base Salary: $46,200
Initial Title: Trust Administrator
Annual Discretionary Bonus (based on employee and company performance): estimated to be at least $2,000
Retirement Contribution: 10% provided by Employer $4,620
HSA Contribution by Employer: $4,300 or $8,550 (depending if eligible for single or family amount)
Health Insurance: Single or Full Family Health Covered by Employer
Dental Insurance: Single or Full Family Dental Covered by Employer
PTO: 20 Days Paid
