Job Purpose
To undertake a range of administrative duties and assessment activities in support of the General Practice elements of the MBCh B programme in the Undergraduate Medical School.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the GP Teaching Team, GP Professional Services Team, and more widely within the Undergraduate Medical School to support a range of teaching and assessment activities.
2. Provide dedicated administrative support for the organisation, delivery and evaluation of the General Practice Community Oriented Medical Experience Track (COMET), Student Selected Components, GP electives and MBCh B2 formative OSCE assessment.
3. Assist with the administration of the annual GP tutor training conference and with the planning and delivery of other tutor training events.
4. Assist with the set-up and on-the-day administration of OSCE assessments both on and off campus.
5. Co-ordinate all aspects of submission and evaluation of the MBh B3 Longitudinal Portfolio and MBCh B4 Ethics coursework.
6. Responsibility for the recruitment of and liaison with course contributors, both internal and external.
7. Arrange and maintain records of payments for GP contributors.
8. Work with the GP team to edit, collate and distribute annual course documentation.
9. Disseminate information to students and staff using electronic systems including Moodle, organise bulk mailings and distribution of materials.
10. Maintain and edit teaching content within online platforms such as Moodle.
11. Undertake any other reasonable duties that either the Manager, Deputy Manager of the Undergraduate Medical School and GP Administrative Team Lead may request.

A1 Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework level 5 or 6 (National 5 or 6, Scottish Vocational Qualification level 2 or 3) or equivalent, and experience of personal development in a similar role or ability to demonstrate the competencies required to undertake the duties associated with this level of post having acquired the necessary knowledge and skills in a similar role

Terms and Conditions
Salary will be Grade 4, £23,581 - £26,038 per annum.
This post is full time (35 hours per week) and open ended (permanent).
