We are looking for someone to manage a team of janitors (+-10 people) during busy events and concerts. Managing large events requires considerable proactive teamwork involving many different parties such as hospitality and security.
The number of shows depends on the time of year. During the peak summer months there are far less events than other months. Feb/Mar and Oct/Nov/Dec are peak months where you could expect to work at least 10 shows.
Tight management and control of the janitorial team is critical, especially in large crowds.
We need someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and help whenever they can. Leading by example is essential as your teams will often have inexperienced people who will need to be mentored and guided.
You would be required to work only when shows / events are on. For evening shows, you would start mid-afternoon and then work until the close (approx. 10pm – 11pm). The average is approx. 8 hours per show.
Please note that shows occur on week days AND weekends.
Pay: £13.61 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
